What is MailerLite for? 

MailerLite is a user-friendly email marketing platform that allows you to create, automate, and analyze email campaigns. 

By integrating MailerLite with Uteach, you can automate email workflows, segment your audience, and gain insights into your campaign performance. Thus, you will be able to convert more students. 

With MailerLite integration, you will be able to

  • Design and send professional email campaigns using MailerLite’s intuitive drag-and-drop editor.
  • Set up automated email workflows triggered by student actions to keep them engaged and informed.
  • Organize your contacts into targeted segments.
  • Track and analyze the performance of your email campaigns with detailed reports. 

What do you need for MailerLite integration? 

To connect MailerLite and Uteach, we need your API token and the group name you created on your MailerLite account. 

You can access your API token by navigating to the Integration page of your MailerLite account. Our knowledge base provides a detailed description of how to do this. After generating the token details, head to your Uteach dashboard. 

  • Log in to your Uteach account.
  • Move to the Settings and Integrations section.
  • Choose MailerLite from the list and click on it. 
  • Access the corresponding fields and paste the information from your MailerLite account. 

How to use MailerLite with Uteach? 

Creating a campaign in MailerLite is easy! Here’s how to get started:

First, go to the Campaigns page and click Create new. Enter a name for your campaign under Campaign details and choose your campaign type. 

On the Campaign details page, fill in your campaign name (for internal use),subject line, sender info, and preheader text. Decide if you want to track opens and clicks, and choose your newsletter’s language.

Next, select your recipients. Check the boxes for the groups or segments you want to include. If you need to exclude anyone, click Exclude group/segment. In the advanced tab, use filters to fine-tune your audience. For example, you can send to a single subscriber or target those who didn’t open a previous campaign. Once you’re happy with your settings, click Next: Content to move on to designing your email.

Now it’s time to create your email! You can use the drag-and-drop editor, Rich-text editor, or Custom HTML editor (for paid plans). The drag-and-drop editor is great for easy customization. 

You can also choose from your own templates, predesigned ones, or recent emails from your Sent or Drafts folder. 

Once your email is ready, review it and schedule your campaign.

Can I use Gmail for MailerLite? 

To comply with new sender requirements and improve email deliverability, MailerLite recommends using an email address from your own domain instead of a public one like Gmail for your MailerLite newsletters.

For instance, instead of sending emails from [email protected], use an address like [email protected]. This simple change helps ensure your emails are delivered more reliably and meet compliance standards.

Do you need a website to use MailerLite?

You don't need a website to use MailerLite. If you haven't built your website yet or it's not ready, you can still request confirmation without it. In such cases, you'll be asked to provide additional details about your business instead. To speed up the confirmation process without a website, ensure your answers give a clear understanding of your business to the reviewer.
