How are chargebacks handled with PayTabs?
When a chargeback is received, PayTabs will notify the merchant, asking for the necessary documents within 3 days to reverse the chargeback. If the documents are not provided on time, or if they are incomplete, the merchant's balance will be debited for the amount of the disputed transaction.
A fee of USD 25.00 will be charged for each chargeback raised by the issuing bank. PayTabs will deduct this fee from the merchant’s account. When a chargeback occurs, the corresponding amount will be immediately held in a Chargeback Reserve Balance for 30 days.
