Single Sign-On (SSO) is an authentication process allowing students to access multiple applications or services with a single login credentials. This means that once a student logs in to one application, they can access other connected applications without having to log in again.
Uteach’s SSO integration helps to enhance security, simplify user management, and improve the overall user experience, as it reduces the need for multiple logins.

To integrate SSO with Uteach, log into your dashboard and follow this path:
Settings > Integrations > SSO
Select Custom and enter the SSO Login and Register URLs for user redirection after login or registration. When users click login or register, they will be redirected through these URLs.
Next, ensure the is_sso and client_redirect_url parameters are sent to the backend. Make a POST request to the "Create user API URL" with the provided bearer token. If using JavaScript, wait for the response before continuing.

After you integrate Google SSO for your Uteach school, the login process will depend on the particular student. The students can choose to link their Google account with your school. This way, they can log in with Google.
There are other ways Uteach makes it easier to get your students to log in. You can enable logins via Facebook, Google, and Apple ID.
To access this feature, follow these steps.
To access the information on your API key and domain, head to your Uteach online school, copy them and insert in your Zapier account.
Below, you can see the Login and Sign-up settings for your Uteach online school. Enable the toggles for the sign-up option you want to enable.
For example, when you enable login via Facebook, students can see the Facebook icon when entering their account. Consequently, they can click and log in via Facebook without having to create a password for their school account.
