How to enable signup for free live sessions

If you offer live sessions with a free first session, you can now collect valuable student information such as their name, email, and specific interests using the "Enable Signup for Free Live Sessions" feature.

This ensures students register before accessing free sessions, allowing you to better engage with them and tailor their learning experience. Without signup, students can join free sessions anonymously. Follow this guide to activate the feature and start collecting student registrations for free sessions.

  1. Log in to your dashboard and navigate to the Live Sessions section. 
  2. Either edit an existing live session or create a new one.
  3. Once you’re in the session editor, proceed to the 4th step: Publishing and SEO Settings.

In the Publishing and SEO Settings section, look for the option Enable Signup for Free Live Sessions.

Click on it. This action will redirect you to the Settings page.

 

 

On the Settings page, go to Course Settings. 

Scroll down until you find the toggle labeled Enable Signup for Free Live Sessions and activate it.

 

Important Note: This toggle applies to all live sessions created on your site. Enabling it ensures that every free live session requires students to register with their details.

 What Students Will See

When students visit the live sessions page, they will now have two options:

Sign Up for a Free Session: Students must provide their details to register.

Buy the Session: Students can choose to purchase the session directly if it’s not free.

 

Track Student Registrations for Free Sessions

 

After students sign up for a free session, you can check how many students registered by following these steps: 

  1. Go to the Live Sessions section in your dashboard. 
  2. Find the specific session and click on the three dots next to it. 
  3. Select See Lesson Students 
  4. Students who signed up for the free session will be labeled as free session 

 

 Now that you have their emails, you can start working with them directly by following up, sharing additional resources, or inviting them to future sessions.
